Mahtab Hamzehlouy graduated in Master of Arts in Architecture at Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark with a holistic approach surrounding social, cultural, environmental, and economic sustainability in design. Moreover, She has the experience of working with Danish practices such as Schmidt/Hammer/Lassen Architects in Copenhagen.
Mahtab's main passion is inclusive design, the interconnectivity of spatial qualities, and how to increase values such as equality and sustainability in cities. She believes people create the most balanced out of urban situations. That’s why she seeks for creating opportunities and empowering people towards a more sustainable system. Her approach is through stakeholder involvement, small scale planning processes, and changing mobility habits using practice and theory.
Mahtab is currently a senior advisor and researcher at TUIC.<
