Samaneh Shahbazi

Samaneh Shahbazi received a Bachelor of Architecture at the Azad University of Qazvin, and a Master’s in Sustainable Architecture at the University of Politecnico di Milano. During her studies, she won the MI/Arch-2014 architecture festival at Politecnico di Milano. She also gained the certificate of the best urban renovation in the social housing zone from Failed Architecture (fa). Her professional career includes collaborating with Iliad architects, Banian Memari Novin group, and Rahyab Andish Tose’e consulting engineers.
In 2017-18, Samaneh collaborated with TUIC as a senior researcher, developing a new approach to urban morphology in the project Remorph, inspired by Armelle Carron's theory (Unmaps the city). The outcome of her research has been published in  in Computer Vision and Audition in Urban Analysis Using Remorph Framework.
