Shirin Barol

Shirin Barol is a graduate of Harvard University's master in design studies program and University of Toronto's master in planning program. During the last couple of years, her research has been focused on the relationship of development institutions, infrastructure building and everyday life investigating the political economy of development strategies through urban metabolism and territorial restructuring. She is currently interested in identifying new models of partnership between market, state and civil society that could be augmented by technological systems.
