Sarvin Sarabi Daryani has received her Bachelor's degree from University of Tehran, College of Fine Arts in 2019. Her undergraduate thesis was a study on the possibilities to strengthen identity and community through designing a network of public spaces next to Tehran's qanat networks.
From 2016 to 2019, apart from her own practice, she worked in architecture and graphic design offices. In 2018, she won the encouragement prize in Shelter International Architecture Design Competition 2018.
As a researcher at TUIC, she aims at exploring design and interpretations about the concept of 'shelter'. Shelter generally refers to an emergency gathering place for the victims of disasters. She is going further in her understanding, towards emotional comfort, beyond physical function.
