Hamidreza Bakhtiarizadeh

Hamidreza Bakhtiarizadeh started his post secondary studies in Civil Engineering at Sharif University of Technology(SUT), then he moved to Canada and studied Master of Applied Science in Structural Engineering at University of British Columbia(UBC). Then he decided to change his field of study from engineering to social science, so he entered Urban Studies Program at Simon Fraser University and completed Master of Urban Studies. His focus in his graduate studies was on urban (and regional) economic development and he is currently working on a regional development research in Iran. He can be contacted at .
He is working with the centre on “Surviving Mallification” project. In this project he is trying to propose series of action that help small retailers to survive in competition with modern shopping malls.
