Ali Andaji Garmaroodi

He holds a PhD in  Architecture from university of Tehran where since 2008 he is a guest lecturer at faculty of architecture and FabLab workshops. His research's focus is on algorithmic design and architectural design optimization through using genetic algorithms. He is co-author of “Digital Architecture”, a Persian source book from UT press. Ali is chief executive of ContemporArchitectUrbanDesigners ltd (CAUD) which he co-founded in 2011. He won several competitions in the fields of architecture and urban design. During 1994-95 he won two gold and silver medals of national Olympiad in informatics and a bronze medal in national Olympiad of mathematics.
